Salvation in Islam

Salvation in Islam is based on Faith, Works and Following the Laws of God (Follow God's command and resist from doing things forbidden by God).

A. Faith in Islam

1) Believe in One God Allah
2) Believe in the Angels of God (10)

The Archangels

i) Gabriel - Send Revelation from God to Prophets
ii) Mikail (Michael) - The Angel of Abundance (Manage the sustenance of each individual)
iii) Israfil (Raphael) - Blow the trumpets on Judgment Day
iv) Azrael - Angel of Death (Take the Soul from mankind)

The Angels

v) Rakeeb - Angel that record good deeds
vi) Ateed - Angel that record bad deeds
vii) Ridzwan - Angel Guardian of The Heavens
viii) Malik - Angel Guardian of Hell
ix) Munkar - Questioner of the Graves
x) Nakir - Questioner of the Graves

3) Believe in the 4 Books of God

i) Zabur (Psalm) - Given to Prophet King David
ii) Torah (Tawrat) - Given to Prophet Moses
iii) Injeel (Gospel of Jesus) - Given to Jesus (Yeshua) the Messiah
iv) Al-Quran - Given to Prophet Muhammad (Messenger of God)

4) Believe in the Prophets (25)

B. Works in Islam

1) Proclaim with words that there is One God Allah and Muhammad is the Messenger of God

2) Salah - Prayer worship

3) Zakat - Charity

4) Fasting in Ramadan (1 Month every year)

5) Hajj - Pilgrimage to Mecca (Valley of Baca) - Once in a lifetime if have health and wealth to go otherwise it's not compulsory

C. Following God's Law

Do good deeds such as

1) Sincerity
2) Loving
3) Modesty
4) Caring
5) Honor Parents
6) Be nice to neighbours and friends
7) etc.

Avoid things Forbidden by God

1) Alcohol
2) Gambling
3) Adultery
4) Killing
5) Abusing
6) Cheating
7) Stealing
8) Gluttony
9) Consume Pork (Unless emergency)
